Hello Buckingham Homeowners & Neighbors,
Here is some information that you may find handy and helpful.
If you see a streetlight out in Buckingham ( or around Tampa Palms) you can report it on TECO's website below.
You will need to write down the 8 digit serial number that is located about 5 feet from the ground on the pole, and enter it when you report the
broken street light.
There is a lot of heavy equipment and more traffic running around Tampa Palms. This increased traffic and abuse to roads is causing more and more Pot holes to appear.
When you see one, please report it. Don't wait for the city or county to find it. Odds are they will not. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing potholes that never get attention and repaired.
Do your car and your wallet a favor, report it.
The streets in New Tampa and Tampa Palms fall under two jurisdictions, the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County. Below you will find resources to report the pothole when you encounter them.
How do you know if it is a City of Tampa Road or Hillsborough County Road? Great question!
If you send your pothole repair to the wrong agency, they will be glad to tell you that it's not theirs, so send it to the other one!
Crazy, I know. You have to love bureaucracy!!!!
The City of Tampa has a great app for your smartphone. It allows you to report the pothole, take a picture of it, and locate it using GPS, so they will know exactly where it is.
Below are the two website and a news video that explains the app for your smartphone. To get the app, Search for "City of Tampa" under the smartphones app store.
